Knit Nation at John Lewis

knit nation at john lewis

Knitting is back in fashion again, and no its not about Granny chic this time, knitters are knitting in style and bucking the trend of fast and unethical fashion. So as we draw to the final days of Wool Week, there is just two more days of #knitnation running at the London and Edinburgh John Lewis stores if you’re knittingly inclined, I urge you to go down and give it a go. Get Knitting this Wool Week

knit toft

Wool Week has become a festival of all things wonderfully woolly, with landmark events since it began with Savile Row Field Day when Savile Row was turfed over and turned into a street long sheep farm. Toft who have been known for Alpaca are now venturing into the wonderful world of wool and launching new knitting packs ranging from giant ram’s head crotchedermy and are celebrating Wool Week with a series of workshops and a display in John Lewis’s Oxford Street store, so if you’ve been thinking about starting knitting or want some inspiration then Wool Week begins next week.
